Welcome to the NY State Loving Education at Home website for Region 10 (New York City/ Long Island). It is our desire to be of assistance to you in your homeschool endeavors. Homeschooling is growing by leaps and bounds here in our region. Get to know our regional representatives by visiting our new Regional Representatives page.

Also, it is with great joy and excitement that we announce three opportunities for growth and recognition for LEAH homeschoolers in our region.

The first is the President's Volunteer Service Awards.
Next, we are in the process of becoming a charter member of Eta Sigma Alpha, the National Home School Honor Society, the only homeschool honor society, and the only honor society that homeschoolers qualify for.
Lastly, we would like to offer a Regional Science Fair to be held in the spring of 2009.

Tell us about your family.
Elizabeth and I have been married 26 years. We have 5 children--Dawn, (23) an oncology nurse and married to David Albani, Danielle (20) married to Joshua Tavares, David (15), Victoria (13), and Jonathan (8). We have been home schooling for 13 years.....
